A very special visit from Chef Afe brought excitement and curiosity into the room.
After returning from Tonga, Afe showed the children how to open a coconut and scrape out the meat.
There were lots of funny faces, brave tastes, and big reactions as children explored new smells, textures, and flavours.

January also brought excitement as the centre prepared for Colour Week.
Children chatted about colours, outfits, and what each day would bring.
This playful lead-up helped build anticipation and confidence, while encouraging children to talk about routines and days of the week.
