Giving Back

As you probably know by now – we love kids and equipping them for a great start in life

Little Miracles have partnered with and financially support through the donation of some profits three organisations that are making a difference in young lives in Bali, Indonesia and Rwanda. They are each working to give hope, dignity and purpose to young children in difficult circumstances.

Bali Life Foundation

The Bali Life Foundation, founded by Brad and Siska Little, provide a children’s home for 5 – 15 year olds who have been orphaned, abandoned or rejected.

Founded by Brad and Siska Little in 2006, Bali Life Foundation began as a children’s home for Indonesian children who have been orphaned, abandoned or rejected. The Children’s Home now houses 48 children from diverse backgrounds and regions of Indonesia, providing for their physical, spiritual, emotional and educational needs. The Foundation continues to aim to give Hope, Dignity and Purpose to the children in their care.

Bali Life Foundation has continued to grow, in its efforts to impact the wider Balinese community. The Bali Life Street Centre in Denpasar looks to serve street children and their families who would usually be begging on the streets. The Centre provides Street Kids Informal School and Bali Life Women’s Workshops for mums. Bali Life’s Suwung Community Centre is located at Bali’s biggest official rubbish tip. This Centre aims to provide a safe place for the children and families who work at the dumpsite. Informal schooling is provided for the children.

Little Miracles began its partnership with Bali Life in 2010, sending teams over to Bali to assist in teaching English classes to the children. In 2018 Little Miracles was a partner in the opening of Bali Life Daycare and Kindy, a childcare catering for 120 children from across the globe. We continue to support the Daycare by providing online training and sending teams of educators to help train and equip the Daycare’s educators. The profit from the Daycare goes back into financially supporting the Foundations projects. We continue to be committed to providing support to the Bali Life Foundation and their mission to provide Hope, Dignity and Purpose to children.

Compassion

Compassion empowers children to live lives free from poverty and work in child development and advocacy in 26 developing countries.

They take a holistic approach and look at the spiritual, economic, social, physical and emotional development of each child. Compassion work closely with local churches who administer and operate a child development centre in the local community.

Our Sponsorship

Little Miracles sponsor Currently twelve children from Indonesia, Uganda, Guatemala, and Rwanda

As part of our sponsorship, these children receive nutritional support, health care, help with school supplies and fees, key life skills and vocational training and Christian teaching.

These Compassion children provide the opportunity for our Little Miracles children to send drawings and craft to these children, along with a letter from us. Little Miracles children can learn that there are children around the world, just like them and that we are helping them.
