April was full of fresh spaces, team laughs and hands-on learning at Little Miracles Wamberal.
This month, the centre shared a lovely mix of behind-the-scenes care, educator connection and children learning through play, from sparkling carpets to a very exciting playdough-making adventure.
So Fresh And So Clean
Wamberal started the month with a very fresh centre update.
A big thank you goes to Professional Carpet Cleaning for coming out and making the centre sparkle. Clean, calm and cared-for spaces help children feel comfortable as they play, rest, explore and learn throughout the day.
It is one of those behind-the-scenes jobs that makes a big difference. A fresh room helps set the tone for another busy month of little feet, big ideas and plenty of play.
Painting, Laughs, And Team Bonding
The Wamberal team also enjoyed a fun night out together with a painting event.
Some pieces were described as incredible, and some apparently needed a little squint to fully appreciate. Either way, the night was full of creativity, laughter and time spent together away from the centre.
These moments matter because a connected team brings that same warmth back into the centre. When educators laugh, create and support each other, that positive energy flows into the everyday care they give the children.
A Long Weekend Reminder For Families
Wamberal also shared a friendly reminder about the Easter long weekend closure.
The centre let families know it would be closed from April 3rd to 6th, reopening on Tuesday, 7th April. It was a simple but helpful update, shared with a warm wish for everyone to enjoy a happy and safe weekend with their loved ones.
Clear communication helps families feel supported and prepared. It is another small part of building trust between the centre and its community.
Mighty Meteors Make Amazing Playdough
A big learning highlight came from the Mighty Meteors, who showed independence and self-help skills while making playdough.
The children were given clear, easy recipes and instructions to follow as they poured, measured and mixed the ingredients together. They were so excited to make the softest playdough, and they worked beautifully as a team.
This activity gave the children a chance to practise listening, turn-taking, problem-solving and fine motor skills. Best of all, they got to feel proud of something they made themselves.
Clean Spaces, Creative Teams, And Capable Children
A lovely theme across April was care.
There was care for the centre through freshly cleaned spaces, care within the educator team through creative bonding, care for families through clear updates, and care for children as they built confidence through hands-on play.
