February at Little Miracles Terrigal was bright, creative, and full of hands-on learning.
From colourful art to meaningful cultural experiences, the children spent the month exploring new ideas in playful and thoughtful ways.
Here is a look at some of the moments that made February so special at our Terrigal centre.
Colour Week Brought Out the Paintbrushes
One of the standout moments this month was Colour Week in the Shining Stars room.
The children loved dressing up in bright colours and creating their own colourful masterpieces. There was plenty of painting, experimenting, and happy little faces as they explored colour through art.
It was a fun way to build confidence, creativity, and self-expression.
Learning Through Aboriginal Symbols
Our Little Angels also took part in a beautiful art experience focused on Aboriginal symbols.
Using symbol stamps and paint, the children transferred patterns onto paper and created thoughtful artworks of their own. Along the way, they were introduced to symbols connected to native flora, fauna, and the environment around them.
This was a lovely way to encourage respect for diversity while helping children connect with culture through hands-on learning.
Creative Play With Meaning
What stood out most this month was how creativity and learning worked side by side.
Whether the children were exploring colours through painting or discovering meaning through symbols and storytelling, each experience gave them space to express themselves, ask questions, and learn through play.
