April was full of Easter cheer, bright hats and happy family moments at Little Miracles Terrigal.
From egg and spoon races to creative hat parades and thoughtful gifts for our educators, the children had a lovely month of movement, celebration, connection and hands-on fun.
Egg And Spoon Fun With The Mighty Meteors
The Mighty Meteors got into the Easter spirit with a classic egg and spoon race.
The children carefully balanced their eggs, focused on each step and had lots of fun cheering each other on. It was a playful way to build gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination and confidence.
There were careful steps, little laughs and plenty of concentration. Sometimes the simplest games create the biggest smiles.
Fresh Fruit And A Thoughtful Easter Gift
Terrigal’s educators were also treated to beautiful Easter fruit boxes from special visitors Anna, Missions Manager, and Pastor Ben.
The boxes were filled with colourful, fresh fruit and Easter treats, bringing a bright surprise to the team. It was a kind way to show appreciation for the care, energy and love our educators bring into the centre each day.
Little moments like this help make the centre feel connected and supported.
Shining Stars And Little Angels Parade Their Creations
The Shining Stars and Little Angels enjoyed a beautiful Easter Hat Parade with their families.
The children proudly showed off their hats, with so much colour, creativity and effort on display. Families joined in for a lovely afternoon, helping make the celebration feel warm and special.
It was a great chance for the children to share what they had made and feel proud of their work. Seeing their families watching on made the moment even sweeter.
Amazing Asteroids And Mighty Meteors Take The Spotlight
The Amazing Asteroids and Mighty Meteors also had a wonderful time preparing for their Easter Hat Parade.
The children were excited to show off their colourful hats and celebrate with their families. There was a real sense of joy as they walked, waved and shared their creations with everyone.
These experiences help children build confidence, practise social skills and feel part of something special. They also give families a lovely chance to step into the children’s world for the afternoon.
Little Hats, Big Confidence
A lovely theme across April was confidence.
Whether the children were balancing eggs, making Easter hats, walking in a parade or sharing the day with their families, they were learning to have a go and feel proud of themselves.
That is what makes Little Miracles Terrigal such a joyful place to learn. Each celebration gives children room to move, create, connect and shine in their own way.
