June was a big month at Little Miracles Wamberal, filled with sunshine, sensory play and some seriously impressive dance moves.
From our tiniest Little Angels to our almost-big-school Mighty Meteors, here’s a look at what everyone has been up to.
Little Angels Meet the Animals
Early in the month, our Little Angels gathered around a tray filled with textured sand and a whole crew of animal friends.
Tiny fingers dug, scooped and explored. Each child picked up the animals one by one, building fine motor skills with every grasp.
There was so much enthusiasm and curiosity on display. It was a sweet peek into the animal project that’s captured our babies’ imaginations this term.
A Trip Down Memory Lane with the Mighty Meteors
Can you believe we’re halfway through the year already? Our Mighty Meteors certainly gave us reason to pause and celebrate.
The children took a trip down memory lane, looking back at everything they’ve learned and discovered since January.
Seeing those curious faces gathered together, it’s clear how much this little crew has grown. Roll on the second half of the year!
Sunshine, Chalk and Small Worlds
The winter sun came out to play mid-month, and our Little Angels made the most of it.
Outside in the fresh air, the children explored mark making with chalk, scribbling and swirling to their hearts’ content.
There was also a small world sensory tray waiting for them, complete with an elephant and a cheetah roaming through bright green rice. Their favourite animals made yet another appearance, and the fascination hasn’t faded one bit.
Do the Wiggle Dance!
To round out the month, the Mighty Meteors turned the room into a dance floor.
Their favourite song came on, and the wiggle dance took over. Arms flying, feet stomping and the biggest grins you’ve ever seen.
Music and movement are such a joyful part of every day here. And honestly, we dare you to watch this one without smiling.
Following Every Little Fascination
If June had a theme at Wamberal, it was this: when children love something, we lean in.
The Little Angels can’t get enough of animals, so animals kept appearing, in sand trays, small worlds and sunny mornings outside. The Mighty Meteors love their song, so the wiggle dance got its moment too.
That’s learning through play at its heart. Follow the spark, and watch the joy (and the growth) that follows.
