February at Little Miracles Point Clare was full of colour, creativity, and proud moments for our wonderful community.
From messy sensory play to cultural learning and celebrating achievements, the children had plenty of opportunities to explore, discover, and grow.
Here is a look at some of the highlights from the month.
Colour Week Adventures
Colour Week brought a whole rainbow of activities to the centre.
The children explored colours through sensory trays, creative play, cooking activities, and hands-on experiments. From mixing textures to watching colours change and swirl, every day offered something new to discover.
It was a joyful week that sparked curiosity and creativity across the centre.
Blue Day Smiles
One of the favourite moments from Colour Week was Blue Day.
The children dressed in their favourite blue outfits and enjoyed outdoor play while celebrating the colour together. There were big smiles, lots of laughter, and plenty of opportunities for the children to talk about the colours they could see around them.
These simple themed days make learning playful and memorable.
Exploring Aboriginal Stories and Culture
Our Amazing Asteroids had a special visit from Chrystal from the Barang Regional Alliance.
The children listened to a beautiful story about Australian animals and explored cultural learning through discussion and creative activities. They even created their own emu eggs and feathers as part of the experience.
Moments like this help children connect with culture, storytelling, and the world around them.
Celebrating Our Educators
February also brought a proud moment for the team as we celebrated Gabi completing her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
The children helped celebrate the achievement, and the whole centre shared in the excitement. It is always special to recognise the dedication and passion our educators bring to supporting children every day.
Colour, Culture and Community
This month showed just how powerful learning through play and shared experiences can be.
From colourful sensory activities to cultural storytelling and celebrating our team, every moment helped build a stronger sense of community at Point Clare.
These experiences help children grow in confidence while feeling supported and connected.
