April was full of kind moments, Easter fun and lovely new beginnings at Little Miracles Point Clare.
This month’s update takes a look at what the children, families and educators have been enjoying lately, from special visits to warm welcomes and thoughtful community gestures.
Easter Gifts And Grateful Hearts
April began with a sweet show of appreciation when the Bateman family visited Point Clare with Easter fruit baskets for the educators.
It was a thoughtful gesture that brought plenty of smiles to the team. Moments like this help make the centre feel warm, connected and full of care.
Welcoming New Faces To The Team
Point Clare also welcomed two new team members, Amy and Kiara.
Amy joined as a Kitchen Hand and brings great experience, along with a genuine eagerness to support the centre’s kitchen practices and prepare delicious meals for the children. Kiara joined as a Certificate III trainee in the Shining Stars room and has been enjoying getting to know the children and families.
It is always exciting to welcome new people into the centre. Fresh faces bring new energy, and it has been lovely seeing Amy and Kiara settle into the Point Clare community.
Bailey And Libby’s Easter Visit
One of the most memorable moments this month was a special Easter visit from Bailey and Libby.
The Amazing Asteroids started by letting Bailey sniff their hands first, then gave her lots of gentle pats while chatting with Libby about Bailey. The visit gave the children a calm and meaningful way to learn about safe animal interactions.
Along the way, they were also building confidence, social skills and independence. It was a lovely mix of learning, connection and pure joy.
Easter Hats, Art And Proud Little Paraders
Point Clare’s 2026 Easter Hat Parade was another big highlight of April.
Families came along to support the children as they created Easter art and proudly paraded their hats. There was so much colour, creativity and excitement in the air, and the children clearly loved showing off what they had made.
These shared celebrations help children feel proud of their efforts. They also give families a chance to be part of the fun in a simple and meaningful way.
Kind Moments Make Big Memories
A lovely theme across April was connection.
Whether it was a family dropping in with Easter gifts, new educators joining the team, children meeting Bailey, or families cheering on the Easter Hat Parade, each moment helped build a stronger sense of belonging.
