November at Little Miracles Tuggerah was full of energy, imagination and plenty of big smiles.
Our centre enjoyed a month of outdoor fun, pretend play and confident little learners giving everything a go. Here’s a warm wrap-up of what our Tuggerah family has been up to.
Soccer Skills and Big Celebrations
One of the biggest highlights this month was a special visit from Coach Ryan. Our Mighty Meteors had been buzzing about soccer for weeks, so seeing cones, balls and a bright jersey walk through the gate sent excitement through the roof.
The children explored simple movements, kicked goals and cheered each other on. It was loud, joyful and full of those priceless moments where confidence grows without children even realising.
Pretend Play With “Ice Cream”
Our Radiant Rainbows Pink group dived into imaginative play with a pretend ice cream experience. Using soft yellow playdough, the children shaped cones, scoops and swirls, then acted out eating them before “melting” them back into the bowl.
It was messy, sensory and so sweet to watch. This kind of play helps children practise language, problem solving and storytelling, all while just having fun with friends.
Jumping Sacks and Big Laughs
Our Mighty Meteors kept the movement theme going with skipping and sack jumping outdoors. Hats flew off, giggles filled the yard and the children worked hard on balance and coordination while cheering on their mates.
These simple activities build strength and confidence, and they remind us how much children learn just by having space to move.
Growing Through Play
This month showed just how much learning happens when children are supported to explore their interests.
Whether they were scoring goals, creating pretend treats or jumping their hearts out, each child was building social skills, resilience and a sense of belonging. Tuggerah felt like one big team cheering each other on.
