July brought some very proud news to Little Miracles Tuggerah, along with gardens, space dough and a room full of tiny doctors.

We’re a Local Business Awards Finalist!
The month started with exciting news: Little Miracles was named a finalist in the Local Business Awards for the Central Coast!
A big heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing families who took the time to vote for us and continue to support our community. Your trust, kindness and encouragement mean the world to our team.
Here’s to continuing to learn, grow and create little miracles together.
A Garden Grows in Shining Stars Pink
Mid-month, Shining Stars Pink dug into gardens and plants as part of their interest project, Our Natural World.
The children planted real and pretend flowers and loved discovering the insects, bees, butterflies and snails hiding in their garden.
Gardening builds confidence and independence as children succeed in nurturing living things. Along the way, they shared their discoveries with friends and educators and grew their scientific vocabulary too. Well done, Shining Stars!
Small People, Big Dreams
Over in Amazing Asteroids Purple, the children have been exploring their interest area, “Small People, Big Dreams”.
From café workers and chefs to doctors in full scrubs, the children have loved learning about community helpers through imaginative play and hands-on learning. The little medical team even gave their baby dolls a very thorough check-up.
There was also a special visit from Max, who shared what it’s like working in the Navy. Big dreams indeed!
Space Playdough in SS Pink
That same week, SS Pink blasted off with homemade space playdough.
It was beautiful to watch the children’s curiosity and imaginations go wild, mixing colours and exploring the shapes of the planets. They chatted about balls and spheres and how their hands could roll and mould the dough, with the planets song playing to link their learning from across the week.
Beyond the fine motor workout, the children practised curiosity, cooperation and confidence in their own creations, connecting ideas from one experience to the next. Out of this world, really.
Dreaming Big, Together
July at Tuggerah was proof that no dream is too big for small people.
The children imagined themselves as doctors, chefs and sailors. They shaped whole planets with their hands and grew gardens of their own. And behind it all stood a community of families whose votes helped make us an awards finalist.
Thank you for dreaming big with us. The best part? Our little ones are just getting started.
