February at Little Miracles Kanwal was bursting with colour, laughter, and some very creative little hands.
From rainbow sensory play to sweet Valentine’s surprises and early literacy adventures, there was something new to explore almost every week.
Here is a little peek at what our Kanwal community has been enjoying lately.
Rainbow Day with the Mighty Meteors
One of the brightest moments of the month was Rainbow Day with the Mighty Meteors.
The children explored colours in all sorts of playful ways, including sensory trays, creative art, and even colourful pancakes. Little hands scooped, sorted, and created while learning how different colours work together.
There were smiles everywhere as the children brought a rainbow bird to life through textured craft. It was messy, creative, and full of excitement.
Colour Week with the Shining Stars
Our Shining Stars room also dove into a week of colourful discovery.
Children explored different colour themes through painting, sensory play, and fun experiments with food and textures. From red oobleck to yellow pasta, green painting, blue rice, and even making their own rainbows, there were plenty of chances to explore, mix, and learn.
It was wonderful watching the children recognise colours, describe what they saw, and proudly show off their creations.
Valentine’s Day Smiles
February also brought a very special Valentine’s Day surprise.
A beautiful balloon garland filled the centre with pinks, reds, and happy energy, creating a joyful backdrop for photos and giggles. The children and families thoroughly enjoyed it, and it quickly became a favourite part of the celebration.
Moments like these help turn an ordinary day into something extra special.
Learning Through Play and Literacy
Our Shining Stars also enjoyed a hands-on literacy experience using the TYTTR board.
With the help of their educators, children explored letters, sounds, and picture matching through playful activities. It was a lovely way to build early literacy skills while keeping the experience fun, social, and engaging.
At Little Miracles, these small learning moments help children grow in confidence day by day.

This month showed just how powerful play-based learning can be.
