April was full of colour, giggles and special moments at Little Miracles Kanwal.
From Easter celebrations and family visits to water-saving lessons and thoughtful gifts for our educators, the month gave our children plenty of chances to play, learn, connect and celebrate together.
Easter Hats, Happy Faces, And Big Parade Energy
The Easter Hat Parade was a huge highlight for Kanwal in April.
The children proudly showed off their bright, creative hats, with feathers, eggs, bunnies, flowers and plenty of sparkle on display. It was such a fun way for families to come together, cheer the children on and share in the excitement.
There were lots of smiles, little waves and proud faces as the children walked through the centre. Moments like these help build confidence, while also giving children a lovely chance to celebrate with their friends, educators and families.
Easter Fun With Our Little Angels
Our Little Angels also enjoyed a beautiful Easter celebration filled with fun activities, Easter afternoon tea and great company.
Families came along to share the afternoon, take photos and enjoy time together at the centre. The Easter backdrop, bunny ears and bright decorations made it feel extra special, and the children had a wonderful time being part of the celebration.
These moments are simple, but they mean a lot. They help children feel safe, seen and connected to their centre community.
Learning To Save Water Through Songs And Stories
April also brought a visit from the Early Childhood Education Program, with a fun focus on sustainability.
The children joined in with interactive songs, a story book and a science activity, all based around saving water. They also learned what should and should not be flushed down the toilet, which made for a very memorable lesson.
It was playful, silly and useful all at once. The children were able to learn real-life habits in a way that felt fun and easy to understand.
Fruit, Kindness And A Thoughtful Thank You
Our educators were also surprised with beautiful Easter fruit boxes, thanks to a special visit from Missions Manager Anna and Pastor Ben.
The boxes were bright, fresh and full of colour, with fruit and Easter treats thoughtfully packed for the team. It was a kind reminder of how much care sits behind the everyday work at Kanwal.
Little Lessons With Big Heart
A lovely theme across April was care.
The children cared for their hats as they proudly showed them off, cared for the planet through water-saving learning, and saw care in action through family visits and thoughtful gifts for educators.
That is what makes Little Miracles Kanwal feel so special. Learning does not only happen at a table, but it also happens through celebration, kindness, shared laughs and the little moments children remember.
