July at Little Miracles Niagara Park delivered pyjamas with a purpose, NAIDOC Week celebrations and some seriously exciting award news.

Pyjama Week Kicks Off for a Cause
The month began with everyone arriving in their warmest PJs and slippers.
It was the first day of National Pyjama Week, held to show support for children in foster care. Such an important cause, wrapped up in the cosiest of days.
We loved watching everyone come in dressed for comfort, then dive into a morning of play, music and movement together.
NAIDOC Week, Cosy Edition
That same week, the Radiant Rainbows doubled up: NAIDOC Week and Pyjama Week, together.
Dressed in their cosiest PJs, the children dove into Indigenous culture through fun-filled, shared learning experiences. From cooking to language and much more, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect with and learn about one of the oldest living cultures.
This year’s NAIDOC Week also marked five decades of acknowledging and amplifying Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and traditions. A special milestone to celebrate together.
A Room Built Around the Children
Mid-month, the Shining Stars unveiled a learning environment designed just for them.
Cooking corner, transport table, dino puzzles and memory match: every space was thoughtfully set up around the children’s recent interests, guided by the valuable feedback families shared through our NQS questionnaire.
Together, we’re creating meaningful, engaging experiences that reflect what matters most to our children and community. And judging by the dino puzzle traffic, it’s working.
We’re Finalists!
And then came the news that had the whole centre celebrating.
Niagara Park Little Miracles was named a Finalist in this year’s Central Coast Local Business Awards, in the Outstanding Early Childhood Centre category. But that’s not all: we’re also ECEC Awards finalists for Community Connection and Large Regional Centre, and our own Mikayla is a finalist for Educational Leader of the Year!
These nominations reflect the passion, dedication and heart our amazing team pours into every single day. To our incredible educators, families and little learners, thank you for being part of our journey. Wish us luck!
Health and Safety Heroes in Training
To finish the month, the Radiant Rainbows continued their project, Health and Safety Heroes.
The children used their creativity to build a brand-new Hydration Station, then went on a scavenger hunt to find the fire extinguishers around the centre.
They also kept learning about the importance of water by watering the plants, tiny watering cans in hand. What a fun week for our littlest heroes.
A Centre That Cares, Recognised
Look closely at July, and one word keeps coming up: care.
The children wore pyjamas to care for kids in foster care, and celebrated a culture that has cared for this land for tens of thousands of years. Educators built rooms around what families said matters, and little heroes learned to care for plants, water and safety.
Those award nominations didn’t come out of nowhere. They’re what caring every day, in a hundred small ways, looks like from the outside.
