Little Miracles Terrigal is looking for a kitchen hand to work three to five days per week and Little Miracles Point Clare is looking for a kitchen hand to work five days a week. The successful applicants must be enthusiastic, able to work as part of a team and flexible. These roles are 9am-2pm.
To qualify for this position you need to comply with the Cooks In Education And Care Services Qualification Guidelines. This requires you to have successfully completed units in:
- menu planning;
- nutrition; and
- safe food handling.
The role will include tasks such as
- Food preparation for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
- Safe food handling for allergic/anaphylactic children
- Meal plating and service and taking to classrooms
- Kitchen cleaning and dishwashing
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, ensuring that general day to day procedures are followed
- Work collaboratively with other team members within the kitchen and throughout the service.
You will also need to have or be willing to obtain a Working with Children’s Check
