Meet Rob & Susanna Bateman – Original Founders and visionaries

Rob worked for Scholastic as the Director of Finance and IT until 2004, when he and Susanna were looking for a change in direction. Susanna had been looking after the family and heavily involved in community work with children, youth and women.

They were looking for a business opportunity – one through which they could make a big difference in people’s lives. Both passionate about helping families and encouraging children, Rob and Susanna looked at many businesses before deciding that childcare was the way to go and Little Miracles was born!

Over the years, they had both observed and experienced that parenting can be such a challenge at times so a key focus at Little Miracles today is speaking life and encouragement to staff, children and parents. Check out our Speaking Life blog.

Rob and Susanna have lived on the Central Coast since 1975, and have four children (all involved in the business) and thirteen gorgeous grandchildren. They’re also involved at Hope Unlimited Church, @ Central Coast Leagues Club in Gosford, NSW.

After 19 years of carefully leading and growing Little Miracles, founders Rob and Susanna decided that it was time to move into retirement, entrusting the business into the hands of their four children. In 2023, with careful consideration and respect for the family business the family appointed Michael for his new role as CEO, ready to lead Little Miracles into its next chapter.

Michael Bateman

CEO

Michael has been a key part of Little Miracles since 2010, leading the Construction and Maintenance teams and he moved into the CEO role in 2023. His leadership exemplifies the belief in the value of every individual in the Little Miracles community. Dedicated to his family and their faith, Michael is committed to innovation and excellence, supporting staff to reach their full potential. He fosters a culture that honours staff and ensures each centre provides exceptional care, creating a home away from home for children.

Anna-Parry-Jones

Training & Quality Assurance, Curriculum, Resources

It is my role to encourage and empower the support team: Our curriculum coordinator, Loving Language coordinator and administration management. In order to move forward in the same direction we all look to our policies and procedures which are developed here at Tuggerah Services. We are always examining the daily practices and current guidelines to reflect on our policies and procedures. I have the privilege of marrying all these components together so that we can advise on providing a caring, loving educational environment for our precious little miracles.

Daniel Bateman

Operations

Daniel oversees the operations and development of our new and existing centres. Daniel is passionate about developing the Little Miracles leaders and educators to reach their full potential.

Ben Bateman

People and Community

My role is to provide development opportunities for our staff and parents to reach their full potential. The five areas we are currently offering or working towards are, development in Leadership, Talent, Spirituality, Relationships and Emotional Health.

Susan Noble

Quality Assurance & Compliance Consultant

I work between our Management team, Administration Team and Directors to ensure that all Standards, Regulations and Policies are met and followed. I love using my strengths of Administration and System development to empower Educators, Directors and Management to provide a high standard across all our Centres.

Renee Noble

Curriculum

I am excited to be supporting and mentoring our amazing educators. I am very passionate about Early Years Education and care. I enjoy coming alongside our educators and using my passion and knowledge to help educators reach their full potential and create positive impacts on the children.

Jessica Wilkie

Wellbeing Coach & Chaplain

My role here at Little Miracles is to provide wellbeing support to all staff in the areas of emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual health. I provide a confidential, safe, and non-judgmental space for staff to talk. I have a Bachelor of Counselling (Coaching), Mental Health First Aid Certificate, and am currently studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science. I have worked in the space of mental health and wellbeing support for several years, working with a diverse range of people and concerns, including working with women specifically. I am passionate about coming alongside people from all walks of life, and helping them navigate life’s challenges, reach their potential and flourish.

I am passionate about facilitating clear communication and assisting the best I can to support not only your child but your whole family. I am passionate about leading the educators at Niagara Park in providing a safe environment that upholds high quality care and education. I believe that early childhood learning is beneficial to a child’s cognitive, social, and emotional development and sets them up for future learning. I look forward to creating strong partnerships and getting to know your beautiful family throughout your Little Miracles Niagara Park journey.

I am passionate about providing the very best education and care for children and believe that early education sets foundations for life. I believe all children deserve a warm, loving and stimulating environment to flourish and grow according to their own individual needs. I am blessed to work with such an amazing team who strive towards best practice.

Little Miracles Point Clare

I am supported by a team of educators who deliver high quality care and education. I have a passion for play-based learning developed through children’s interest and strengths and am an advocate for school readiness support through holistic approaches to physical and emotional development. I enjoy collaborating with my team and codeveloping solutions and practices that benefit the service as a whole.

I love to inspire my team in the nurturing of young children and the teaching of early childhood education. As an educator myself I enjoy teaching children about anything and everything. I’m passionate about developing my team of educators so they can reach their full potential. I believe everyone has potential and I love helping them to reach their goals and dreams.
