I’m so excited to share this with you today. The Red Plate Theory is something I’ve recently been introduced to and it’s definitely something we are adopting and I am encouraging my children to adopt in their young families.

The Red Plate Theory is something that my dear friend, Susan Sohn, has established and implements in their home. She and her husband, Philip, are raising three beautiful children aged 11 – 17 and from what I can see they are doing a fantastic job. It was at church, on Mother’s Day that I first heard about The Red Plate Theory. In celebration of Mother’s Day our church interviewed Susan about this plate and as a surprise to all the women, we were given our very own Red Plate to use in our families.

After hearing about the Red Plate, I had the opportunity to ask Susan about the why behind the what of the plate. Her response is as follows:

I’d love you to read more about the theory behind this plate; Susan articulates it so well in a blog she wrote about it. Also, I’d like to introduce you to her website and some of the insightful articles she writes. As a mother, entrepreneur and speaker, she is a girl on the move and one I love to cheer on.

As always, with much love and respect,

Susanna xx
